Grandparents' Day

It was Grandparents' Day this past Friday at Grace's school; the final day of activities for Lutheran Schools Week. Grace was lucky enough to get all 4 grandparents here for the day (too bad there wasn't a "combined distance traveled" prize). They all had a really good time. They completed crafts, listened/sang songs, and got to a tour of the school. Here are some pictures of the day.

Grace all "dolled" up for school....Grace and her Entourage......they clean up pretty good!
Grace and all the kids.......she's in the front row in the middle....
Working on a craft........
Nana and Grammy work on a picture frame with Grace......
Trying to find the right decorations......

These are just a couple of photos from Friday afternoon and evening......Grace was pretty worn out from all the day's activities......we found Gretchen sleeping next to Grace's bed to keep her company....
Grace found a new way to take out the 'trash'......Alison thought this was pretty funny!

UPDATE - A photographer from the local paper was at the school and this was in the paper this morning! The picture was supposed to include Grammy too, but it looks like they resized the picture and only gave her a "name-mention".

Wow! What an extra special day for everyone! Who was the guy in the tie?! :-)

I chuckled at Grace passed out cold on the bed... the school program wiped her out! My money says the grandparents were ready for naps too...

Glad to see Gretchen made the blog... and in the same shot with Papa's bed and my bedspread... cool.
